Repeater Society of Kodai was
founded during the year 1991 with 11 Charter Members and it has
now come up a long way and today, the Society has a membership of
over 215 Hams and SWLs. The Society owns a VHF Repeater VU2KOD
(145.750 - 0.600 MHz) installed at Kodaikanal (Tamil Nadu, India)
at a height of 2250 metres above mean sea level. It is one of the
repeaters with a wide coverage in India. Daily two nets are being
conducted viz., Kodai Net at 0645 HRS IST and Kurinchi Net at
2130 HRS IST.
